Mission SD-002, Stars of Calm, continued StardustMe’s journey into space, carrying memorial capsules into low Earth orbit aboard D-Orbit’s ION satellite carrier, Ultimate Hugo.
Launched in November 2023, the mission remains in orbit today, continuing its journey around Earth.
Following launch, Ultimate Hugo separated from the Falcon 9 and began its journey in low Earth orbit, carrying Stars of Calm with it.
Today, Mission SD-002 continues to circle Earth approximately every 95 minutes, completing almost 15 journeys around our planet each day.
