Your local funeral home will organise the ashes to be sent to New Zealand. The capsule is tested by Auckland University Space Institute. Each capsule is individually prepared to have the initials or name of your choice, up to 18 characters, elegantly engraved.

All components have been designed and engineered for the space environment. The structure and token are made of space-grade materials, using modern processes. All components and materials meet SpaceX requirements and have been used by NASA.

Yes! The launch will be webcasted. After the spacecraft is deployed, you will receive details of the launch, including the official spacecraft tracking ID assigned by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

The capsule containing the ashes will orbit the earth for up to 5 years in a state-of-the-art satellite and will re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere as a shooting star.

The launch will take place at either Cape Canaveral or Vandenberg in a SpaceX Falcon 9 reusable rocket.
