FAQs

  • The preferred method would be to take the token and the ashes of your loved one to your preferred funeral home. They can perform the transfer, and also send the filled token to us at StardustMe. You could transfer the ashes yourself, and again, we would ask that they are delivered then to your preferred funeral home.

  • Putting ashes into orbit is a very cost-intensive exercise but we have made it our mission to make it affordable. For a memorial journey of up to 5 years and launched from the United States on the Falcon 9 rocket starts at US$1995 plus tax

  • More and more people are taking care of their own memorial service. If you want to have your own ashes launched into space, you can pre-book any of our services by contacting us today.

If you want to have your own ashes sent into space, StardustMe can launch them for you once you pass.

The way we talk about death and dying is changing, and increasing numbers of people are thinking ahead about how they want to be remembered after they die. If you want to have your own ashes scattered in space, you can pre-book our service today. • We have no means of recording and are unable to get a precise date and time on re-entry but we will let you know when it is getting close.

  • Our service is very sustainably minded. We are utilizing rockets and satellites already going into space i.e. ride sharing and our memorial tokens with the satellite will eventually come back into earth’s orbit and burn up on re-entry which leaves no space debris behind.

  • We use a low-cost third-party satellite tracking app that allows you to track the satellite and memorial tokens in real time. At times you can literally see the satellite fly overhead on a clear night.
