Ian is a Chartered Accountant with Advisory knowledge in the Commercial and Not for Profit Sectors, Ian has considerable experience. Previously a Director and Shareholder of Evans Funeral Services Ltd in Gisborne for over 20 years, he has also served the NZ Funeral Industry in many other capacities including being the FDANZ representative to the Industry Training Organisation, who at the time successfully gained NZ Qualifications Authority recognition of Funeral and Embalming Qualifications.

It is fair to say that of the two certainties in life, Ian understands Death and taxes!
